Can't get sharp, small JPG files
I am trying to export images for my blog, and for that purpose I would like them to be no bigger than 600 px of height. The problem is anytime I process them, they appear extremely soft. I have tried both default and my own process recipes. The weird thing is the problem disappears as soon as I decide to process bigger files. Your help would be much appreciated!

Well, with 600 px height, you can't expect getting sharp images, as pixels can be seen right away on your screen....
Did you try the new (C1 v10) sharpening within the adjustments of the process recipe, coupled with the recipe profile new tool ?0 -
Actually, I haven't - until now. This feature is really amazing and my problem's been solved. Thank you for your help! 0 -

I don't understand what you mean by this.
Do you mean zooming out in the viewer of the full raw photo size?0 -
Yes, to some extent. In addition, when you resize and jpeg compress your image, the definition loss is ckearly visible : the contours are smashed into a pixel soup..... that is clearly visible on your screen. 0
