Just checking but I assume you have Expression Media running on the same computer?

yes I do. But only installed Expression recently (way after CO) - although I've rebooted, hoping,
CO would recognize Expression is there.

Could it be, I cannot test integration of both with the 30 day trial version of Expression?

Most common reason is that you have not installed Service Pack 2 for Expression Media 2.
The service pack is required for this to work.

If you run C1 64bit, there is no connection between EM and C1!!!

    This is correct.

I have upgraded to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit because I was so frustrated with the behaviour of Capture One 6 with XP 32-bit ("out of memory"), and now I have lost the connection with Expression Media too.

I am not happy with C1 v.6 at the moment.

Yes, I did not have the Service Pack installed (was wrongly assuming the latest download includes it all) and
    yes, running 64bit.

Ok, than no Expression for me. Although I would have loved hierarchical categorization (even better, if
readily available standard taxonomies would be available for it, so you don't have to punch in thousand of categories).

    Thanks for everybody's help!

Have not tested through-and-through, but a quick try work fine.

Install both the 32- and 64-bit version of Capture One 6 on your Win7 x64 machine, plus Expression Media 2 SP2. Use the 64-bit version for anything but cataloging to EM2. Start the 32-bit version for that purpose. Until a fix comes around.

I have not been looking into activation of both installations, so that can be an issue to look after.

There is no connection between Expression Media 2 SP2 and C1 Pro 6.1.1

However it is listed under (Shortcut Commands) Edit>Preferences>Commands>File

    Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

    Just 'bumping' this bug 😕

    cross reference:

*later note: Good job on 6.2 😊
