How can I delete all selected images at once?
I switched to Capture One 4 from DPP and like the software very much.
I just have a few difficulties, as Capture One does a few things very differently than any other software.
This one came up today, and got me stuck editing today's shoot (the first processed with Capture One).
When I first view a shoot I immediately mark images to be deleted (blinkers, etc.).
I rate them with one star, then select all 1-star images, and then I'd like to delete those.
Doesn't work.
I cannot delete more than one image at a time.
I'm sure there is a way, but not the obvious one.
If I hit Command and Delete, only one image gets deleted.
How can I delete all "selected" images (like you can in DPP, for example)?
Thanks.

Capture One 4.6 and later use the concept of Edit Primary Variant Only and you can switch it on/off. When you have multiple images (Variants in Capture One lingua) selected, actions will be performed on the Primary Variant Only or on All Images, depending on the switch status. An action can be delete or process.
You can find the toggle on the toolbar (right section, 1st at the left, square with "1") and through the Edit menu.
Edit: Robert, I just read in another thread that you are on CO 4.1.1. In that case, there is not toggle as mentioned. You should hold the Shift key when perform the action (deleted, process...)0 -
Thank you, Paul
So I press Command Shift Delete to erase all the selected original RAW images.0 -
Unfortunately, it didn't work.
I have no idea on how to delete the images.
Except one by one. (I have over 100 images to delete)0 -

Hi Robert,
in 4.1.2, holding the alt-key and clicking on the trash symbol in the tool panel leads to succes. Hope this helps.

Yeah, Jürgen is right. I already forgot how 4.1.x worked. It needed the Alt (or Option) key for deletion and rating a selection. I can't keep up with previous versions. To old or just lazy (pick one please, not both) 😉0 -

The "option" key! Will try this. Thanks, Juergen. (I'm on 4.1.1 - should work).0
