How to fix crop / image offline?
Hi all -
I downloaded Capture One earlier today to have a bit of a play before purchase, but having difficulties. Is anyone able to advise on the below, please?
Firstly, when you crop an image, I can't seem to 'finalise' the crop? The complete photo always appears to show in the thumbnail section. Can you apply the crop permanently? So that you only see the finalized version?
Secondly, when you've finished adjusting a photo, I don't seem to be able to drag an adjusted image from the app to my desktop. Message repeats image offline... What does this mean?
Basically, after adjustments, I don't seem to be able to hit 'save' as it were. And any adjusted photos appear to be stuck in the app - unable to remove them from the app to my desktop etc.
Any ideas? Am I missing something?

In the thumbnails, the crop will be there, but its sorta masked out. This is by design. Some like it, some don't.
Any edits, including crops, must be processed in order to be used outside of C1.
Dragging a raw file to the desktop will only result in just that, an unedited raw file on your desktop. Of course you figured that out by now. 😄
In order to process, you MUST use a process recipe. This can be found on the tab with the single "gear" icon. C1 has a few pre-fabbed recipes. You can create your own, and It's a good idea to learn how.
Another thing you really have to pay attention to is the OUTPUT LOCATION. This is where the processed pictures will end up.
You can change this to wherever you like, but just make sure you know where that is.
I highly suggest watching the videos on this.
At first this can be very confusing, and quite irritating. However once you figure it out, it'll be second nature.0
