Changing the Lens Profile - Possible?

Automatically applying a preset on lens metadata is not a current feature. I could imagine a workaround with a smart album, which automatically collects all images made with this lens.

As pointed by Paul below, Smart Album plus + User preset that applies your settings group together. And then periodically syncing images in that smart album with your preset.

Also if all images shot during import on single lens, you can apply preset on import phase, but as I understand that is always your case.

    Paul & Andriy,
I very much appreciate your replies and 'workaround'.

I have been in contact with technical support at Capture One and was informed (after viewing an image I sent to them) that all I needed to do was to increase the 'Light Falloff' to 100%.

    My concern is twofold...

    1) I still have to manually correct every image taken with the Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 G ED VRI lens (unless I do your workaround that is or use a Preset)

    2) Surely if this lens has been checked by Capture One (otherwise why is it in the list of supported Nikkor lenses?) then Capture One should have picked up that this lens vignettes badly (a well known trait of this lens) and the corresponding corrections should be made automatically for me in the lens profile; otherwise the lens profile from Capture One isn't correct?

I must admit to be slightly concerned that the support department for Capture One is told that (and given proof) this lens has vignetting and don't seem to want to correct the lens profile.

Or have I got my facts wrong about the vignetting not being picked up by Capture One?

With great regard for what you all do for us and your advice... 😊

    Richard
