Filling a mask rectangle

In one of the tutorial videos showing the new features of C1-9, use of the Shift control to create straight lines in a mask was shown. An example showed this feature being used to create an outline rectangle which was then filled. I can create an outline rectangular mask but can't find a way of filling it.
What am I missing?

    Top line. 3 dots at the RH side. Click to open and you should see the option for Fill Mask.
