Color consistency of C1?
I like this program but when I applied changes to the pictures and process at TIFF 16 bit with Adobe RGB colour space and look at it in Photoshop (also with Adobe RGB) the picture looks flat in comparison. Indeed it looks as the changes are not applied to the picture... Is this possible? When I didn´t change the picture the color was the same (as I remember) I work with a monitor profile by Eye One.
As I said it´s a great program but when the editing in it is for nothing then it´s not worth to buy it...
Also I found this post of a member who had the same problem: \"None of the settings I apply, sharpening, saturation, color profile or contrast show up after I process the file and open it in Photoshop. Only the exposure factor is applied. I have this problem with 3.6 and 3.7 rc1. I have quit using C One lately in favor of other softwares...\"
Any help?

This sounds very strange, I would like to take this abit further.
Take on file, do the changes, verify it is PS.
After this go to http://support.phaseone.com create a support case, attach the RAW file and the plist that belongs to the image
For example
If you have a session called \"Test\" and a Image called Test1 in you pictures folder then go to /Pictures/Test/Test1 Attach this picture to the case and also go to /Pictures/Test/Capture One Settings/ImageSettings/Test1.plist and attach this file as well to the case.0 -
Unfortunately the picture in PS still look pale... I deleted all settings and started a new session - but still the same problem...
I will send you the files tomorrow...
Hm, one day till the trial version is gone.

Ok, the changes are applied - but the picture looks very different than in the preview. Paler, with less vivid colour. Without editing it looks pretty the same.
I wonder how all the pros come around this?
Does it still make sense to send the files to the support (or is this normal)? The same with the \"Pro\"-version.
Also C1 is a bit slow with realtime changes... (compared to Photoshop) ☹️0 -
apologize if this is too basic but:
1. Make sure your Working Space inside of Photoshop is set to \"Adobe98\". This is in Color Settings.
2. Make sure, in your C1 Process Tab, that you're outputting to \"Adobe98\".
If you do that, they should match exactly.0 -
Please see my initial post above. And no, they don´t match exactly... 0 -
Set your output colour space in C1 to ProPhoto RGB, and also choose Relative Colorimetric and Best in your C1 prefs Colour Management--Destination.
Then in PSCS, set you colour space settings to ProPhoto RGB, Adobe Engine, Relative Colorimetric.
Let me know if that helps.

Tristan,
It might be worthwhile trying some of the suggestions on this page:
