Prefs not sticking

I'm running 10.7.2 with C1 6 (latest version)
I've trashed the prefs, created a new session and reinstalled but every time I open up C1 it forgets the workspace, toolbar prefs and adjustment tool prefs. Very frustrating as i have to start from scratch every time.

Assuming there is a simple fix, please?

    Yes done that and still nothing is sticking.
    Slowly driving me mad as I have to sort out the dual monitor and customise tool tab every time I open C1.
    Any other ideas?

    I've reinstalled, trashed prefs, repaired permissions.

    Hmmm, are you sure you did delete ALL pref files?
    including:
    user/library/Application Support/Capture One/Workspaces

    Just in case, this is the workflow given by Phase for a complete uninstall…

    I've deleted all the files mentioned and still I have to customize the tool bar, dual screen setup, tools and importer keeps appearing every time I open up C1 (ticked don't open.)

    Any other ideas? I've reinstalled and set new session as well, this is slowly driving me nuts as you can imagine!

    Another idea: create a new user on your system, login and start CO6. Check whether the prefs will stick. If they do, you current user profile folder are screwed regarding permissions are otherwise.

    Okay, this may be a long shot, but are you sure you are launching the application from the applications folder rather than the DNG file you downloaded from the internet?

    I just had a customer support case where that was the case.
