7.01 producing completely black jpg files.

    No; though I have a 60D; pretty close.
    7.01 has been ok for me.
    Have you tried this with OpenCL set to off?

    Preferences (Edit menu) > OpenCL > OFF for processing only.

    Report your system details to support, so that they can optimize for cards and drivers.

    After you swiched it off, restart Capture One before you try again.

    And if this doesn't work, run the "donotuse OpenCL" script; reboot; and restart CO7.

    Also, if all fails there is scrips for disabling the use of OpenCL in Capture One.

    Please report what GFX adapter you are using.
    We are aware of this issue, but it is very illusive, as it only seems to occur on a very limited number of gfx-models.
