4.5.2 is fine if you're running an Intel based machine, but what about the users who need to upgrade to hopefully get rid of all the bugs from the previous version and don't have an Intel based Mac?

I've been using C1pro 4.5.2 for about two days now. My MacPro is nearly a year old but it still has some quite good specs:

    2 x 2.8 Quad-Core Intel
    10Gb 800Mhz DD2 FB-DIMM Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT Graphics Card (512Mb Vram)

If I flick between the rawfiles of a 1DS MKIII it takes about 2 seconds for the image to appear properly on an Eizo CG210 (1600x1200). It says "focusing" for about a second and as I said, takes about 2 seconds for the image to appear properly. Especially compared to C1pro 3.7.9 this is a joke.

Overall usability is quite bad I have to say. I could go on forever about this but I think, reading previous posts, lots of other users have covered this already and expressed their disappointment about the new version!
I'm using Hasselblads H3Ds very often and the whole story reminds me very, very much the transition from FlexColor to the new Phocus which is also painfully slow and in general badly designed.
If Hasselblad and Phase are not careful they will lose an awful lot of pros to Lightroom! I'm considering it already.

What I don't understand is the fact that phase didn't come up with nothing better despite having already such a perfectly working C1pro 3.x. After all they could build up on this ingenious piece of software!!
There is also very little comments from Phase about the horrific feedback of so many users about C1pro 4.x

I reckon they are too embarrassed for designing such a crappy software.
It's not a good year for Denmark, is it? First Hassy/Imacon with Phocus - a software that hardly anyone is using although FlexColor being ancient by now and now PhaseOne with this disappointing major update of Capture one Pro.

    my 2 cents

    regards

I have to agree with the comment above.
Why release an update that essentialy is the same, but with a lot of "cons"?
I thought V4.5.2 will be stable, but once installed in both macbook 2.4 ghz 2gb ram, and an Imac 2ghz 1gb ram, they just behaive the same (I can´t slect files: it just freeses).
Waiting for 4.6, even if I have to wait a lot. Meanwhile, back to V4.1

    Wow!!??
I agree gone backwards a step or two. However I acknowledge maybe it will just take a while to learn new interface.

One huge huge problem as mentioned by the other users on this thread is the speed. I have a really high spec almost new MacPro lot's of Ram and so on. Shoot wit Nikon D'3 and I find the refresh rate of the images is so slow that it makes CAP 4 unusable. I can come back from an all day fashion shoot with 2000 or so images. Just to adjust the white balance takes me 20 longer than cap 3.

Any way to speed this thing up??
