Capture one pro with sony a7s and shutter/bulb settings

I am trying to figure out how to set the capture software to bulb, and enter seconds into it.

The shutter setting is right where it should be, and selecting bulb is not a problem. Although I cannot figure out where in the software I enter the amount of seconds I want the exposure to be.

unless you can't. Which wouldn't make any sense to me

    You can't.
    CO cannot control the shutter on a hardware level. It just displays the values the camera sends to CO, and can then select among those values.

    But what is the point of selecting bulb, if you can't do anything with it?

    or is it just there because that is what is in the camera menu

    That is what is in the camera menu, yes. If the camera had a "Time" setting , it might work, as that only requires a triggering, and the camera takes care of the rest.

    well that's not good. Need tether software that can use the bulb. That's a shame because it does everything else I need.
