unsharp view

Hello,

each time I select a new picture from the Viewer pane or change the zoom factor it looks sharp for about one second in the main window and then changes looking unsharp again. Why does the pictures change to look unsharp after about one second?
It is the same on all pictures I may select.
I'm using Capture One Pro 4.6 on a MacPro and an older 23" Cinema Display.

    I noticed this as well. I'm not sure that is really what is happening though. I zoomed in at 100% to see closer, It appeared what was really happening was that the image looks more contrasty just before it is fully rendered. The softer looking image is actually the fully rendered preview.
