Image Adjustments not imported into Catalogue
I wanted to create a "clean" copy of an image catalogue with 2100 images that I am having problems with. 50% of the images have adjustments and star ratings (adjustments and star ratings done in C1v7 in another catalogue with external referenced files). I created a new Catalogue and imported the 12 subdirectories with include existing adjustments ticked - leaving images in place. The star ratings seem to have been imported, but the adjustments have not. The preview thumbnails show the small square symbol in the lower right hand corner, which I think indicates adjustments made.
Question is when you do adjustments in a catalogue with referenced files, do the adjustments get written out to disk in the "Capture One" directory as they used to with C1v6? Or are they only stored in the catalogue, and if so how do you export the adjustments so they can be read by C1v7 on import?
Regards,
Mark

Hi Mark,
As you already implied, the catalog holds the adjustments, both for referenced and managed files. As a result you won't find any settings file in a sub folder of the image folder, as is the case with sessions.
To move an image from one to the other catalog, including adjustments, you have to export it as an original with adjustments (File, Export, Originals). Next, you import with adjustments.0 -
Thanks Paul,
will give that a try.0
