Catalog Albums/Collections
If I have 1000s of images organized into different Albums and many fall into two or more Albums how can I see that the image I am looking at or a series of images I have selected are falling into which Albums?
There are no visual indicators anywhere, doesn't that defeat the purpose of having a catalog in the first place, being able to organize and quickly to do so?
Or am I missing something?

The feature you are after is not available in Capture One, as far as I know. 0 -

That's curious. In Media Pro, if you select an image thumbnail, the name(s) of the Collection(s) [Catalog Set(s)] to which the image belongs turn orange in color. Are you saying Capture One doesn't even have as basic an indicator as that?0 -

Sorry I do not understand why you ask a question while you just quoted my answer.0 -

Your answer left room for uncertainty ("as far as I know") and I don't have CO to confirm the issue. It's such a major shortcoming that I wanted to make absolutely sure we were talking about the same issue before I added it to my fix request list.
Is there a workaround or a non-visual method of verifying which Collections an image belongs to (e.g., the image's metadata list)?0 -
The "no, not possible, as far as I know" means that I do not know how to accomplish the requested task but include the fact that I am sometimes aware of my limited knowledge.
AppleScript could provide a solution.0 -
So does that mean that I would have to memorize 20000 images' Albums? lol, that's smart 0
