How to restrain to jump to the last tehtherd capture?

I work as a photographers assistant / digital tech and a lots
of the professionals I work with are used to shoot tethered
to capture one pro in studio or on location.

My job is to evaluate the incoming files immediately
during the actual session.

THE PROBLEM:
I have no chance to stay with one frame and wait for the
histogram preview (or even a rendered picture preview)
while my photographer keeps on sending files. CaptureOne
always jumps to the last transferred capture.

Is there any way to restrain that feature?

    Should be an issue for Version 4.

    For Canon - you can disable the connection with Capture One and use the Canon software to operate the camera.
    Thumbnails and Previews in Capture One should only refresh if you switch out or toggle between Canon and Capture One displays.

    Finder > Applications > Capture One PRO > Capture One PRO > clik More info...
    Scroll to near bottom at Plug-Ins: and uncheck Canon.camera


    Phase One Digital Backs _
    give the Preview Converter a try available at the Downloads area of web page.

    A small Mac utillity for extracing JPG previews is just released at http://www.phaseone.com/Content/Downloads/COforMac.aspx

    This utillity can be used on a Mac to extract JPG previews from Phase One capture files.

    By dropping the Phase One preview folder onto the Preview Converter application it is now possible to very fast extract all the previews as JPG files
    stored in a seperate folder.


    Unable to test here, so please let us know if this is a solution for you.

    Preview Converter is a great little app. I only wish I'd known about it sooner. I also wish the previews were a bit larger res.

    Though it doesn't really address the issue of how to keep displaying any particular image in Capture One to the Client/Art director whilst the Photographer keeps shooting tethered with Phase One Digital Back into the same session. I too would appreciate this feature.

    No you cant stop it ..

    You should try it on p45 you cant even check the focus.

    I spoke to phase and they said it was going to be fixed in Capture 4

    I will wait a see

    For a fast jpg just do a screen grab shift + apple+4 it will put it on the desktop and its a nice size.

    Its what i use to a do a fast contact sheet or a fast layout no need to process if you dont need it.

    Come on phase give me a beta version of Capture 4

    Oh you can put two images up at the same time and shoot to the right side one ..

    Then your client can see the one on the left and compare .
