The Color Purple

A strange thing has happened twice now. Chrome will sometimes change my theme by itself - to an ugly purple color. The fix is to go to settings, restore to default, & then enable the theme i like. Eventually it changes back. Twice now I have noticed purple color in the white areas of raw images in C-1. Tech support didn't see much from the sample i sent them . Finally I noticed it's the exact shade as the browser theme & eventually it clears up after the browser theme is restored. Is there some connection?

    no screenshot because it cleared up when the browser cleared up. that's why tech support didn't see anything unusual. Next time i will try rendering & see if that fixes it, ie it's not really contained in the image, just in the way it appears on my screen.
