Are older files overexposed too, or only newer images? Could it be a camera setting like low ISO or some highlight recovery feature?

All of the files i have, going back til when i bought it. It seems to be some sort of default rendering setting, because when i edit i am getting a normal image by pulling the exposure back 0.75 to 1.25 stops. As standard I have it set to capture at 6MP with the DR400 dynamic range enhancement. Is it is maybe the DR setting that is confusing C1?

Perhaps, can you try one without?

Ok, done some more testing (on v7.1.4). The problem is reproducible and specific to RAW files captured at Medium and Small sizes with DR200 or DR400 set. The problem does not show with Large file sizes. I seem to remember that the DR setting works differently for L and for M/S sizes - for L it takes two exposures and blends them and for M and S it is an EXR setting which captures different pixels with different exposures and then interleaves/blends.

I also notice that C1 interprets the raw files as 6MP, no matter what setting i capture at. Is this expected behaviour?
