All images cropped on import - won't reset
Just imported a batch of images from an SD card. They are all cropped. Deleted them all and reimported making sure that the crop tool was not activated and that the pointer was selected. They are still all cropped. The crop reset would not work on any of the images initially. I restarted CO and the landscape images were now uncropped, but the portrait ones were still cropped. The reset tool still won't work for the portrait images. It will "undo" the crop partially, but still leaves all the portrait images cropped. Adjustments "reset" doesn't work, either.
Is there anything I am doing wrong or a way to "revert to original" so I can get the images uncropped?
Mac OS X Yosemite, CO 9.3

How much crop do you see? Just a couple of pixels or a decent crop?
If it's just a couple of pixels, have a look at "Lens Corrections' tool, 'Hide Distorted Areas'.

It's more than a few pixels. It's a pretty significant amount. CO had crashed before this happened when I was switching from the exposure tab to the library tab. I've restarted and reimported several times. The images are referenced if that makes any difference and in the original import before the crash, I had adjusted the angle of one image.
Thank you for trying to help!0 -
Although Hans mentioned "just a couple of pixels" it can be quite a lot more than that depending on the camera and the lens. It is most likely the result of lens correction being applied on import.

Try This,
Make a new session. Drag and drop all the images into the new capture folder. I have sometimes had issues when tethering all adjustments from the first image are then applied to all subsequent images. I fixed the issue by removing the cache and settings.0 -
Thanks for the tips. Turning off "hide distorted areas" didn't work. These are images from a Sony RX 100 Mk II that I have never had an issue with before. The camera is set to a 3:2 ratio.
The imported images are showing up as 3548x5472 px and uncropped are 3859x6292 px.
I imported images from a DSLR and didn't have this problem. They imported uncropped.
Per Grant's suggestion - These are not tethered shots. I am importing from an SD card and importing into a catalog as referenced images.
Any other ideas? I really appreciate the help.0 -
This also occurs with pictures from my Fuji X-T2. The reason is the Lens correction according to the metadata written by the Camera into the file. The size of the crop depends on the lens and - with zoom lenses - on the focal length.
For example:
Pictures taken with the 35mm F2 are always cropped to remove the distorted edges after the lens correction.
Pictures taken with the 16-55 mm F2.8 are cropped on the short end (e.g. 16mm), but from 25mm to 55mm focal length not.
If I set the lens correction from "Manufacturer Profile" to "Generic", the crop is removed.
