Pentax K3 ICC profile problems

Anyone out there having issues with the Pentax K3 Generic & Generic V2 profiles? Once I upgraded to C1 8 all my colors are extremely warm with heavy yellow tones. A grey card white balance doesn't even correct it. Am I missing something?

I shoot PEF files, are DNG favorable? I honestly can't think of what else is the culprit.

  Did you have similar issues in CO1 v7 (assuming you upgraded from there)?
  I use the Pentax K3 myself, and although the v1 generic profile is plain bad, I find the v2 generic profile is actually quite accurate, although some pure yellow tones shift to red somewhat. If it is the "warm look" you are having issues with, than that is more or less the CO1 "in-house style".
  That should not hinder color accuracy however, and should not be the result of upgrading from v7 to v8.

  I will echo ChrisM's comment The v2 profile works for me and my K-3. I use a Linear Response and season my images from there.
