8.2 Navigation Challenge
Anyone else had the problem in Windows 7 of after adjusting the image cntrl ->right arrow doesn't take you to the next image to be edited rather it adjusts the levels. I'm having to click either the preview image or the thumbnail to go to the next image. Of course I can just click on the next thumbnail to move forward but my finger is getting tired quickly of all that clicking! What am I missing?

No, no problem for me but I suppose it depends where you are starting from and perhaps which tool currently has focus.

yea I don't know what the answer is. All I know is that it is really slowing down my workflow having to do all that clicking. I really don't think I'm going to be able to use the program this way. 0 -
So what are you doing just before the attempt to get to the next image? 0 -
So far I've uninstalled and then reinstalled 8.2 and updated windows with even the optional updates. I did find that if after I adjust an image's Exposure or Levels if I click on the Color picker it will then let me go forward to the next image via Cntrl-> right. A little better but not ideal. 0 -
There does seem to be an anomaly of functionality with the Exposure and White Balance tools but I have bot found a problem with Levels and some of the others.
I have not checked them all.
I would suggest you create a Support Case, mention which tools you have problems with and see how things develop from there.

Here's the response from my support ticket:
Hi Mr. Harrington.
Please go into Capture One and go to Capture One on the top left > Edit Keyboard Shortcuts. Go to the Edit Drop Down menu and set the commands you want for Select Next and Select Previous.
Best regards,

The challenge though is that I had already thought of that. I was going to change the keyboard shortcut to something else to see if that would solve the problem but I can't figure out how to override the defaults.0 -
In the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog, you first have to create a new set (duplicate I think, not behind a Windows machine now). Next, you edit that new set. 0 -
Actually Paul I think that's going to work just fine. Thanks for the heads up about having to make a duplicate set. I set next to alt->b and previous to alt->V. I thought as long as I was changing them I might as well make it easy on myself. I can now leave my left hand on the keyboard. Actually I think it will be faster! Thanks again Paul!! 0
