running 2 iterations of CO (B/W & color)
I have for some time now had CO LE installed in 2 different folders, one for color processing & one for B&W, as suggested here:
As I recall, and as the link indicates, the trick is to tell each version of CO to keep the preview cache in a different place. That has worked fine for me, until now!
I have just installed 3.7.3 over 3.7.1, and now the two iterations of CO look to the same preview cache, instead of the different ones. I have repeatedly forced a change and restarted, but they both seem to go to whatever I changed the cache to the last time I opened either one. Am I doing something wrong here, or has there been a change in 3.7.3 that frustrates this previously efficient method of using CO for dedicated B/W conversions, as well as for color processing?
Thanks,
Tom

More info: I am running Windows XP (Home), and have each iteration of CO LE set up in a separate directory.
Has there been a change in the most recent version regarding where preferences are stored? Or am I just not remembering how to set it up to keep the two separate?
Thanks,

Hmmmm, still no suggestions. Maybe my question was not clear, or I'm the only one trying to do this. In any event, I have now submitted a tech support case (#14863), so maybe the official support guys can shed some light on this. More to come (I hope).

htbyron,
This set-up is not Supported by Phase One.
There are 2 different Phase One Grayscale profiles now available in Color Management that you can select and set as the Destination/Working space. Why not create Color and B&W images from the same installation of Capture One ? If Images from the same Session are to be processed both Color and B&W, then they can easily be identified by changing the Name upon processing.
