Two tips: first, look into the OpenCL settings in Preferences. Try the software with a different setting (like: never). Second, which you may have considered, take advantage of the trial before you buy to avoid the feeling of disappointment and figure things out before you spent money. Phase One allows you to do that.

Note that running both CO 5 and 6 on a single Mac is 'not a preferred' solution in my opinion (it can be done with certain limitations, discussed else on this forum by the way).

    Hey Paul

Thanks for your thoughts. Firstly, OpenGL is already set to never. Ill try it set to "auto" later on but from what i've read on this forum that seems like not a great idea.

As far as the trial goes, I did take advantage of the trial when it first came out. 6.0.0 was OK, but the whole non-working auto select next capture feature made it not feasible to use on set. I'm not sure really what options I have when it comes to avoiding the "feeling of disappointment". As a professional Tech it is my responsibility to ensure we stay up to date with current software offerings to that I can offer the best services possible to my employers. Of course, things have to work as well, hence having CO 5 and 6 on the same machine.

Anyway this is all a digression because the goal here is to get 6.0.1 as well as it can. I would love to read what limitions you are aware of with regards to running both 5 and 6 on the same machine.
