Display Very Slow

I don't seem to be as slow to display as you, but my system - a new Intel i7 - is pretty fast, yet CO 7 displays are very slow. I have Open CL set to auto, but it doesn't seem to make a difference; I think the version my HP machine will allow me to use is not the one that CO wants or needs.
I regard this as poor programming; as it worked once before in CO6.

The only time Open CL made a difference in C1 to me was output processing, I have other software where developers are playing round with Open CL and are having their problems. Seems like we end up being beta testers unwillingly, and more that that...I know I went out and purchased a new $250.00 video card that I was sure would fix the problem. I'm sure once the bugs are squashed, it might be a good thing, right now it is just creating a very unproductive workplace. I have not paid for the upgrade yet but I know I will. There are some areas that need to shine and C1 does that for me. In the mean time I will patiently wait for 7.1 or whatever magic number gets this issue fixed.
