How About KUDOS for CO Developers!
Running 8.xx on a MacBook Pro with Yosemite- Capturing with a Canon 1Ds Mark II and Canon 5d Mark II- AND using an EYE-1 Mobi wireless card!
Last evening I was commissioned to photograph about 300 couples at a Holiday Party given by a professional medical practice. I printed 8x10's onsite to provide the guests as a gift from the medical practice.
I color calibrated the MacBook Pro and created a custom white balance on the cameras capturing in a medium jpg file. Next a hot folder was created. Once the image was selected, it was printed to a Fujifilm Ask 4000 Thermal Dye printer.
Capture One v8 worked absolutely flawlessly! The images were beautiful and printed as an 8x10 in less than 5 minutes after clicking the shutter!
In a realm of a plethora criticism and complaints, I just wanted to say to everyone involved in the creation and constant feature driven richness of Capture One software... YOU ALL ROCK! As professional photographers, companies such as Phase One consistently set us apart from the "shoot and burn- give away the barn" sort of photographers these days.
