Import preiews never refresh :(
Hey...
So I'm on set the other day on a commercial job, the photographer has his cameras set to zero out the filenaming sequence every time he puts a fresh CF card in. So, images are named A0001.CR2, A0002.CR2 and so on. Every time there's a new card put in the camera, the filenaming starts again as A0001.CR2. Apparently Capture assumes these are the same files, and will always show the previews from the original transfer in the Import preview window. Any chance we can get this fixed? Shouldn't Capture be pulling import previews directly from the files on the card instead of from somewhere cached on the hard drive? Rough way to start a day when it looks like images are disappearing or cards aren't being cleared properly.
I know there's a "fix" of copying the images to a different parent folder first, then importing them in Capture, but it's too slow.

I suggest to use the renaming feature of the import dialog. Hopefully this will prevent the issue. I suggest to use this feature anyway, anytime, by the way to personalize and standardize your file naming and streamline your workflow (sort order comes to mind).
While on the topic favorite format is AAYYMMDD-001 where AA are initials.
Make your renaming format - extensive options exist - and save it as a preset.0
