If you are shooting faster than the preview can generate and display, then Select New Capture to Immediately may very well be your issue.

Try setting it to "When ready". This may skip over frames but it will display the next most recent one that has had a chance to fully load to the point where you can see it res'ed up.

A few other things to consider:

    - Are you in a very old session? If so, create a fresh one, especially if the session you have open was created in a previous version.
    - Is your session created in an area of your computer or on a drive that has permissions restrictions? If so, move it to the "shared" user.
    - Are you in a folder that has hundreds of captures? If so, designate a new capture folder and see if that helps
    - Run permissions repair on your drives.
    - In the session drop down menu on the first tool pane, if there are a bunch of old sessions there you might want to clear it.
    - What do you have your preview size set at? If it is at the default, it may be set to high for your display.

Thanks for the tips most of them have been previously implemented, always. The speed of capture doesn't seem to be an issue. The frame comes in but never clears. I can do one frame at a time slowly and it is the same. Since I like to see the frames as they are shot this is an issue. I never had this problem before. C1 Support was not able to find a solution but are looking into it.

    Hi Lanny,

Are you talking about the final rendering?
I have the same problem with tethering my IQ180s with 7.1.4. The file refuses to render without some additional playing with the image (zooming, cropping, anything really).
It was so frequent that I had to revert back to 7.1.3 and everything works as it should.
