SEL1635Z in release notes but not 10.1 software
I was excited to see the Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16–35 mm F4 ZA OSS (SEL1635Z) listed as newly supported in the 10.1 release notes but it's not listed in the pull down for Sony lenses.
Please advise.

Thanks for the second confirmation that the profile wasn't included in 10.1.
Mistakes happen. Hopefully, PhaseOne will step up for an interim release with the profile before the next major release.

As this is a user to user forum I would suggest you create a Support Case to register the apparent omission.
That has probably already been identified ... but the more people who identify the problem the better.

It still isn't there with the 10.1.1 release this morning. Ugh!
Here is the response to my support case. Looks like v11.0 might include it next year, but only if you pay? lol
HI
It seems that this lens was listed in the release note but the profile was pulled out of the release the last second as it was not completly ready.
As far as we can estimate with will be included in the next release of Capture One.
Kind Regards

Next release, not next version.
Given that 10.1.1 was very specifically targeted for the Mac DM fix and to introduce support for the new Phase cameras within days of the 10.1.0 release it is not the sort of release where one might expect lens profiles that need more work to be introduced.
In my opinion.

All modern Sony cameras (e.g. A7,A6000 and so on) embed a lens correction profile inside RAW file.
C1 works well with it except for Sharpness falloff slider.
So, i will be better to support some older lens, having not benefit from it like ZA 16-80mm0 -
I have the same problem, I use to use the 9 version, i paid the update only for the 16-35 lens profile and its not there, you have a estimated date to solve this issue?, excuse me if my english its not perfect 0
