C1 ignores Metadata of JPG-Files

Hy,

since a few weeks C1 ignores the Metadata stored in JPG-Files. The Metadata is stored in the JPGs with PhotoMechanic. This worked fine the last years.
Metadata of my Raw-Files, stored in XMP, C1 imports without any problem.

    Hy,

    some more information. I just deleted C1 from my Notebook an installed Version 8.3.0 from the archive. The Metadata and the Keywords are also missing. Then I stored some Keywords with another Program than Photo Mechanic and this keywords are also missing in C1.
    Could this be a problem with Windows 10.

    Any Tipps how to solve this issue?

    Hy,

    after some tests I could say, that C1 ignores the Metadata/Keywords of all JPGs that are imported. I tried it with JPGs from different Cameras and Handys, always with the same result. This happens on my Notebook under Win10 an on my Computer with Win7.

    Can anyone confirm this problem. I have an open Ticket at the support, but the support remains in silence.

    I made my last post to fast, exact one day. 8.3.4 solved the problem with missing Metadata from JPGs under Windows.
