coverted entire C10 session to C11 by mistake
Now on C11 I cannot edit this session files-any of them. It mentions variant problem since the ones I want to continue to work on are tiffs.
Can anyone help even if it means reversing the conversion fi there is a way. Thanks.

You probably need to tell us in more detail what you did. How did you convert the session? I regularly open old sessions in new versions of Capture One and accept the message that it will have to be converted to the new format without any problems.
(1) You could roll back the folder with the session in it to a pre-conversion date with your Time Machine backup if you have one.
(2) Or, you should find that Capture One backed up the v10 session file when it updated the session. Go to the session folder. You should see the session file called something along the lines of Holiday.cosessiondb (File A) . Alongside it there should be another file called Holiday.cosessiondb.backup (File B). Remove File A temporarily or rename it to something like Holiday.cosessiondb.new, then rename the backup file to Holiday.cosessiondb. You should be able to right click it and choose to open with Capture One 10. It's just the old session file saved under another name.

If that doesn't work for you, just create a new session in and browse or add your image folders. The v10 edits and (upgraded and added) v11 edits are still there, stored as sidecar files along with your images. See the 'CaptureOne' folder within your image folders. It has different subfolders for v10 and v11 adjustments: 'Settings100' and 'Settings110'. You can use CO v10 to create a new v10 session, or CO v11 to create a new v11 session. But you'll need to recreate all your session-specific settings.
Please note that v11 must(!) upgrade v10 sessions to v11 to be able to use them.
If you cannot edit tiffs, is 'Enable TIFF Editing' ticked 'ON' in menu - 'Preferences' - 'Image' - 'Editing', and did you activate the correct license?
