Colorsync Profile Corruption
It's been a while since it last happened, but during an extended file processing session, my Capture One previews began mismatching in Photoshop. I'm running Capture One v3.7.1 on OS 10.3.9 with a dual G5 maxed out with RAM and SATA drives.
To those who don't know what I'm talking about, it's when the preview in Capture One doesn't match the output as viewed in Photoshop. When all is working correctly the output from Capture One should match Photoshop exactly.
I've used Jason Sewell's solution in the past with great success. But this time, after following his guidelines, the problem remained.
I then used Onyx, a free utility for OSX. The problem was solved once I cleared program caches.
I hope this helps those who run into this problem. 😉

Hi
I tried your link for Onyx but I received only a garbled screen full of screen junk.
Do you have direct weblink you can type in?

Sure! Here it is:

That's interesting Chris. When you say that you cleared the program caches using Onyx, do you know if that was the caches files in :
a) The HomeDirectory/Library/Caches folder, or
b) the /Library/Caches folder, or
c) the /System/Library/Caches folder
I had thought about making a script to delete the necessary files, and may now include the caches files as well.
Thanks

Jason,
I'm pretty sure it cleans all the cache files you listed. Here's a screen shot from one of the program's panes.
There's other panes to the program with more options but this is the basic one. There also used to be a manual, but I could not find it.0
