Viewing only TAGGED images without the borders highlighted
This is an editing question..
I just edited about 1000 wedding images and rated the "rejects" with a 1 (star).
I understand I can go to Edit/Select by rating and see all the 1 Star images highlighted.
Is it possible to ONLY SHOW THE 1 Star images as a group without those that do not have the same tag?
Thanks again...
Wish there was a seminar here in Michigan I could attend!!!!

I've found using "Session Albums" in the Library Tool really helps me organize a large session. I don't if it will help with this particular question but it is worth checking out.
Regarding your question, you can sort the images by rating so they are separated from the rest of the pack.0 -
Hi I realize the sorting "from the rest of the pack", but only want to view a specific group of tagged images. This is done quite easily in Lightroom 0 -
Hello !
you want to have a sort function as in Bridge : to see only what we choose ! I would like to have the same.
Please MR PhaseOne ... can you create such a sort tool ?0 -
The Capture One equivalent (but different) is the Move To option, after you rated/tagged and selected the images. 0 -
I would just create a folder album and drag the images there. Only takes a few seconds. 0 -
To select only one type of rating (single star, no rating, etc) first go to Edit > Deselect All then Edit > Select By Rating or Edit > Select By Color Tag. 0 -

That's my preferred sequence as well. I speed it up by using the keyboard shortcut for Deselect All (Sh+Cmd+A).0 -
Thanks Paul,
I understand... But coming off of Lightroom (since it's first beta), the feature that ONLY displayed specific ratings is nice for ONLY VIEWING those images..
C1, as it stands, displays ALL IMAGES with a White Border around those that are selected.
The White Border is, at times, difficult to see around HIGH KEY IMAGES (white against white); that is why I previously asked if we could have the access to change the color the border in the selected images.
The advantage of Lightroom is that many viewing options are performed by a simple one click method..
In Capture One, first there is the Deselect All, then select by rating, then move images into a new folder, etc...
i do want to end this post on a positive note:
Captured a raw image on Canon 5D Mark2
Viewed in Canon's DPP
Viewed in Lightroom 2 (and 3 beta)
Viewed in Capture
RESULTS:
Capture One had the best initial rendering of the raw file without any correction!
I simply wish that perhaps on the next 5.xx release some of the valid suggestions can be part of the next update!
Regards,
Michael Jonas0
