Capture One Pro 5.2 Canon Connections
we've just updated our systems with 5.2 and keep getting camera errors with our canon 5D and 1D mark IIN. our 40D works fine, but the other two won't connect. i've reloaded the windows drivers and updated the camera firmware, but to no avail. is anyone else experiencing this or are we alone?

No problems with my 1DsII. Connecting / disconnecting all works ok. Try to capture with the Canon DPP software or the EOS utility. If the problem persists, it has nothing to do with C1. 0 -
Further, it would be advantageous to get some details about your system. If you're running a 64 Bit system then there will be some issues as Canon does not officially have 64 Bit Drivers. Although that leaves some mystery to the 40D 😕 0 -

I believe the Canon 40D does not need drivers, which would solve that mystery. The 5D and the 1D/1Ds mkII series do, and are difficult to setup in a Win x64 environment.0 -
Shooting successfully with both a 5d and a 1ds mark2, tethered, but that's on v5.1.
