C1Pro V8 Leica M240 will not tether

Hi: Running C1Pro V-8.1.1.2. Macbook Pro running 10.10.5 Yosemite. Trying to tether my Leica M240. C1Pro release notes say it will tether. Software does not see the Leica. Cables are OK, as it will tether to my Canon DSMKIII. I thought about upgrading to C1Pro V-9, but V-9 release notes say the Leica is not supported. Trying to migrate away from LR.

    It will not tether, there is only file-support. This is the way it has always been.

    If you would like the M240 to tether, contact Leica and tell them that you want this, so they can assist us in providing tethering for their camera in Capture One.
