Cant read raw file in Adobe CS Camera Raw
Couple of queries.
Phase one pro doesnt seem to have the ability to adjust Chromatic aberration from DSLR lenses I use a Canon 1dsii . Adobe camera raw has the ability Red/green Blue/yellow sliders. Ive just bought phase one pro and are otherwise happy.
I didnt think it as too much of a problem until I tried to open the captured raw file in adobe CS raw........it doesnt recognise it. This seems a bit off. I accept that I cant write images to CF card as I shoot and that the software takes and numbers these, I am upset though that the raw file that is saved, only seems to be compatable with phase one. Am I missing something? Can anyone offer a workaround for this
thanks
Andrew

Andrew,
One of the strengths of Capture One is that is absolutely, positively does not alter, edit, or make a RAW a proprietory file.
Chromatic Aberration - True, this feature is missing from Capture One. If you make this Feature Request through the Technical Feedback... option that you access from the Help menu. This will then go directly to the R&D Team.
Sincerely,

Guys
My error. I was using an older version of camera raw that didnt recognise the 1dsii ( since Ive bought it Ive only used phase one)
My previous trial with phase one never needed this, as the 1000 or so test images I ran before had no finging ( these were taken tethered with a horseman LD view camera, schneider apo digitar lens and a 20D on the end...no probs with chromatic aberration!!
, Ive had an excellent response on this from yourselves via the query system.
I will suggest the chromatic sliders in the tech area.
