And with two times left-click? (slow, not a double-click).

Thank you for the tip. But it hasn't worked ☹️
    Is there any alternative?

    Starting MP as administrator perhaps?
    (Right-Click / Start as administrator)

Click on the text of the name, not on the folder icon.

No unfortunately not. But i got an answer from the support. They told me that i only can rename a folder if its not write-protected. Because than i can modify the path which will be renamed in the file system.
That´s what they told me but all my files on DVD´s are write-protected. So i have no idea how i can rename the folders if they´re write-protected. 😕

    How would you envision that?

The trick you could try (but you'd have to re-burn the entire folder to another DVD), is to copy the folder to your hard-drive, somewhere in the catalog's image path. Then, you reset the image path for the particular folder. Now they're writable again (because on you hard-drive) and you can change the folder name.

Then, burn the new folder to (another) DVD. Now, with that DVD mounted, reset the image path again (to that new DVD obviously).

I believe this should work, but it is inconvenient to say the least.

NNN634853829989644230, how could you think to be able to rename folder paths on DVD's? You can not do this either in explorer, why should it be possible in any other application?

HCS described the trick to get the result you want but it's a lot of work.

Roelof I dont wanted to rename the folder path on DVD´s. I mean the path on MediaPro which i can rename. The man from the support told me that it´s possible.

    You're welcome.

I think the support person must have meant the virtual folder (or: catalog set). Like Roelof explained, the real folders are real folders. If you cannot change/update/delete them in the finder/explorer, you cannot do it in MP.

Let us know whether you succeed.

The only thing what the real folders are interesting for is the physical handling (backup, storage, etc).
Realy organizing things you do with catalog sets. You can make every structure (path) you want and even more than one. Images can be places in different 'folders' in these structures without you to have them duplicated. The virtual folder technique of catalog sets is very, very usefull indeed.
