Live Preview steps?

I have tried to use Live Preview several times however I cannot seem to get it to work correctly or consistently. In addition I've tried to follow the instructions available online with no luck. If someone could give me step by step instructions using Capture 4.2.8 along with a P45+ in conjunction with an H2, I would GREATLY appreciate it since I just can't seem to get it!
