Rename on Import / CF, C1 8.2.x

Hi folks,

With the new tokens i want to rename my files while imprting from CF Card (old P25 with ".TIF")
from "CFxxxxxx.TIF" to "CFxxxxxx.IIQ".
The Preview shows what i expect...
but not the result after import... 😕

How is the way to get this thing to work?

  The reason the preview appears correct is that the filename token you are using (Bildname) represents the full file name (including extension).
  
  Even though you and I know that in this case TIF is the same as IIQ, Capture One doesn't see it that way, and the rename tool built in to Capture One isn't designed to change the format of the file (unless you are exporting) so as far as Capture One is concerned all you are asking it to do is append text to the end of the file name.
  
  You might be able to use a different renaming token, but so far as I am aware you won't be renaming the original filename if you take that approach.
  
  I would recommend performing the rename using Adobe Bridge or A Better Finder Rename (or any other file management tool that will let you find & replace TIF for IIQ. It will be a much more time efficient approach.

  Ok, may be... 🤓
  the renamed file would be "CFXXXXXXX.TIF.IIQ" ... made of "Bildname" (incl. ext. ".TIF") + ".IIQ"...
  But C1 generates "CFXXXXXXXX.IIQ.TIF" 🙄
  Not logical for me 😕
  
  As a "quick workaround" I have created a "Dienst" with Automator for renaming my P25 Files.

  But on this level it seems to be impossible to find PO-RAW Files ... just Pictures with .TIF Extension.
  
  My Problem is:
  I have thousands of RAW-Pictures from my old back with ".TIF"
  And it would be very nice, if C1 has an working Renaming Option for this purposes.
