8.2.1 Colour Editor no longer working in Adjustment Layers

Is this just me or are other people seeing this ...

Trying to add a local adjustment for the color editor and brush the adjustment in as a separate layer but the masking does not seem to apply no matter what I try - didn't this used to work ?

C1 Pro 8.2.1 Mac Pro R2D2 Latest OS updates - Open CL on or off ...

    Check that you are working with the tool on the Adjustments Layer tool tab, not on the Color tool tab.

    Or, if you are in the Colour Tool tab, make sure you are NOT using the Basic option and have activated "Use Selected Layer" for the tool. It's accessed from the 3 dots icon at the top right hand corner of the tool window.

    Working from the Adjustment Layers tab tends to be much easier than remembering to activate and deactivate Local Adjustments from the Open version of the tool tab. However the option is there to work either way.
