Lost Exif Info is still there in update
I reported this before and was told it could be reproduced and was in the bug list then the case closed.
And yet there it is again in the update!
Another support case created as below and I look forward to hearing the reason it was not fixed. 😕
As reported in case no 8893 which was recognised as a bug and closed,
This is still happening in the latest update when any editing is done...why?

In Media Pro when using either the resize tool or convert image file to make images for web upload just the Make and Model Exif are lost in the process.
Not a ideal situation when you want this info kept intact.

It is stupid beyond belief to believe that any software provider has the time and resources to fix every bug that might exist at any given time.0 -

Maybe Keith but as one who has duly reported bugs both this and the one below and been patient then when they do not fix the bugs they say they have fixed then ones patience gets a little short for the other items as well.Fixed a bug causing XMP sidecars not to be moved with the media files to which they belong.
This is still not working in Windows 7 64bit and the xmp files are being left behind once again!0 -

If I was PhaseOne and my product was taking the beating it is - I'd be fixing a heck of a lot more . and communicating with my userbase as much as possible. Go take a look at Cerious if you want to see a product go from the top to the bottom all thanks to no communication from the developers and a product and went from ok to terrible (and still is 5 years later).
Surely anyone reading these forums before thinking of buying/upgrading would not do so at this point... that in itself should be enough to get the devs to pump out a lot more than 10 fixes.. IMO of course which means nothing except to me and those that agree... 😊0
