Setting up hardware acceleration takes a long time

Hi,
In version 12.0.3 the message "Setting up hardware acceleration" takes 2 minutes to disappear. On a laptop Windows 10 i7
16 gig. Is that a normal procedure?

    I'm on a Mac, not Windows. But I find the same when a new version of Capture One is installed. But it only has to happen once (until the next Capture One update!) so it is worth just being patient.

    Well unless you're updating the graphics driver, then it happens again (but for good reason I imagine).
