Separate Video Files from CR2 files

Hey all, I'm new to the C1 world. I am a freelance commercial photographer/assistant, a portrait photographer, and a Combat Photographer for the military. I often switch between photo and video on my 5D Miii during uncontrolled action. I am looking for a way to filter photos separate from video in C1. I enjoy the ability to import and view video files, it allows me to mark and label files before I even import and transcode them, but I want to be able to see only photo files when I sit down to process my RAWs. Is there an easy way to do this that I am missing? I cannot seem to get a smart album to identify .CR2.

    Hi Robert,

    Simple: View > global filters > hide video

    Advanced: - Import with path tokens using format, to split video to one folder and RAWs to another.

    James, thank you so much. The first option you listed worked wonderfully. I was hoping to be able to do it via albums or standard filters, but that way works very well for now. I'll be watching tutorials on tokens and dynamic folders, so i'll be using your advanced method from now on when I import. Capture One is quite powerful and my photos look much more clean. Thanks again!!!! 😄
