Sometimes CO7 unresponsive

Using COPro 7.0.2 on Mac OS 10.6.8 with IQ180 files. Sometimes when I make adjustments to an image, they are either very slow to show in the preview or not at all. When not at all, the only way to see the adjustment is to click on another image and then go back to the original image I was adjusting. Anyone else experience this and have found a fix?

    Many notices on this forum of similar behaviour. Many a time, this is due to OpenCL. Switch it off and let us know whether this improved the situation.

    Of course, 80 MP files are quite a big chunk for your system to chew on.

    Already tried the Open CL trick. The problem is not the same as a bogged down system. As I noted, sometimes previews never happen until I switch to another image and back. Using a Mac Pro with 12 processors, 32gb ram and solid state drives. Usually previews were instantaneous before CO7. I was hoping someone had a quick fix but maybe a software reinstall is in order. What a a drag.
