Moving from old Mac to new Mac
Yes, I did do a search but did not come up with anything 😜
I just wanted to confirm the procedure for moving C1 from an older Mac to a newer Mac. My images are physically located in /Users/Shared/Capture One. Both Macs are on the same OS release.
1. I deactivate on the old machine.
2. I install C1 on the new machine and activate.
3. I copy the images folder from old machine to new machine.
4. What else? The plist (/Users/<user>/Library/Preferences) will be for the new install. Can I copy this from the old machine so my image importing convention is retained etc? Or are these stored else where like in Application Support?
Opening the Catalog I originally created should be just a matter of opening it in the new install, yes?

Sounds as a good recipe for migration. You can copy the preference file. 0
