problem with Nikon D50

i downloaded the C1 PRO trial and i can't see any nef files taken with my nikon d50. the program sees the directories and jpeg files on my computer, but not the nef files. if i click a directory that has both nef and jpeg files, c1 pro only sees the jpegs, and if i select a directory which has only nef files, it says it is empty. what should i do?

    In most cases you simply just need to do a reboot of your computer after installing Capture One.
    If you still have issues we need to dig abit deeper.
    Please go to support.phaseone.com and create a support case and please also attach one of your RAW files to the support case.

    We've only had a couple Cases with the D50 images not being 'seen' by Capture One. Both were using the Release Candidate.
    Be sure that you have downloaded the Final Release of Version 3.7.3
    Only other possiblity is manipulating the RAW files in the Nikon software prior to Capture One.

    If you are sure of the above, then please do create a Support Case and we'll look deep.
