Stuck in Pan tool - Multi Monitor

I work with a multi-monitor configuration and use the "Two-Monitor" workspace. For some reason, after switching to the Pan tool (little hand icon) the cursor gets "stuck" in that tool on the main window BUT in the viewer window it a switches to the tool that I have selected, such as the "Crop" tool. When I move the cursor back over to the main window, it reverts to the pan tool again. No clicking or switching of tools will release it until i restart the app.

I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same issue.

PS - i know this isn't the place to drop feature requests, but it sure would be nice to separate my browser window from the others so I could view larger sets of images and keep my main and viewer windows just for the images...

  Brion, I can not copy the behavior you described. The two monitor setup works fine here including switching of tools (MacBook Pro with external monitor, OS X 10.5.5, CO4.5.2). In the main window, do you have hidden the viewer? Maybe that helps.
