Round-trip functionality failing
I upgraded to 8.2 (from 7.2.3) specifically because of the "round trip" functionality. I do a fair amount of external editing and the Edit With option has always been rock solid. However this morning, without any indication as to why, my filmstrip no longer shows any of the tiff files I have sent to my external editor so, of course, I cannot do any further editing on them or process them.
This is so new and so surprising that I have been wondering what I might have done to the settings to have stopped the software from showing the created tiffs in the filmstrip. The files are created and sent to the external editor, the saved files from the pixel editor are there, but none of it shows up in the filmstrip so I can not see if the result looks right and I cannot process them to jpgs. I have not touched my Preference settings and am completely stumped by this sudden failure.
Does anyone have any idea what might have caused this?
Thanks.
UPDATE:
Never mind. Found the issue. The filmstrip setting had been somehow been changed and it was no longer sorted by Name. Since the sorting was by type the tiff files were at the very end of the filmstrip, not next to the raw files, and so it seemed they were not being created when they were.
