setting white balance on 4.7 with canon 5d mark 2

    Are you shooting tethered? Do you refer to the Set button in the Camera tool on the Capture tool tab? That is for Phase One camera and backs if I recall correctly.

    Hi, yes im shooting tethered, and yes its the set tab button that is greayd out. It use to be work on my old 5d but its giving me problems with the 5d mk2 and nikon d3

    The Set button is for Phase One backs only since the Canon SDK does not allow us to upload a white balance to the camera like we can on Phase One backs.
    This is simply one of those things where MFDB is more meant for studio use the 35mm.

    So on 35mm you have to use the work around that you shoot on image, white balance it, and the in the capture tab, set "Next Capture Adjustment" to "Copy from last"

    Now all future images will have the white balance copied to them.
