C1Pro 4.5 - No histogram??
Okay, I don't know if I did something or it's the software. All of a sudden I have NO histogram or exposure evaluation for ANY image. Earlier today it was working fine (and I am LOVING the new v4 PRO btw), but all of a sudden there is absolutely no readout for exposure. I've tried restarting the software, selecting different raw images, resetting the default workspace, everything...
Ideas??? 😕

Did you right click inside the toolbar and select histogram? 0 -

Yeah, the histogram was checked but still no go. To clarify, the Histogram box was present-you could see it in the toolbar, but there was no histogram data shown within it!
I rebooted the PC (Vista SP1) and now the histogram is back. Hmm, go figure. Thanks for the help tho!

I've got the same. Using the crop tool makes the histogram appear. 0 -
This application has a number of bugs. The disappearing histogram is one of them, a big one.
Another is that assigning keyboard shortcuts to select the tools is mismatched. Adding a shortcut to, say, the DETAIL tool brings up the tool before it.
Another small one is that the menu option 'place browser left' doesn't update after clicking to read 'place browser bottom', as it should.
It also crashes when trying to sync adjustments to a large number (200+) images.
All these issues were identified in 30 minutes of playing with the program. What's going on at Phase One?0 -

Ken... here it's running pretty good.

Histogram: go to the tools tab in which you miss the histogram. Right click in the spare space under the tools. Now a list pop up and you just select the tools you want to select for this tools tab.
Place the histogram where ever you want in this tools tab. You can place it in every tool tab if you want to.Another is that assigning keyboard shortcuts to select the tools is mismatched. Adding a shortcut to, say, the DETAIL tool brings up the tool before it.
hmh... works perfectly here...
What might be a bit buggy still: if you assign a new shortcut and these keys were used for something else before you should set a new shortcut for this tool first and then go back to the tool you primarily wanted to set and set your shortcut again.Another small one is that the menu option 'place browser left' doesn't update after clicking to read 'place browser bottom', as it should.
True. But if you set "place browser left" again it will be placed on the bottom. So the command is to toggle the browser position. It also crashes when trying to sync adjustments to a large number (200+) images.
Not here. Tried some "funny" (strong) settings and applied them to 230 images. No problem. (though lens correction was not copied/applied)0 -
Let me clarify the histogram issue. The box is present but it's empty, no RGB peaks. It's a definite bug -- selecting and using the crop tool restores the peaks.
That little popup list IS pretty sweet though, thanks!
The shortcut issue is consistent and repeatable for me. So is the crashing during sync.0 -

Got it. Strange...

Hi, I had the same problem with no histogram. I removed the program. I went to the c:/Programs and deleted any PhaseOne 4 folder. I installed the software and got the histogram view.
I hope it works for you.

Well, so far, the only problem I have is indeed that sometimes the histogram doesn't show. I have to close the application, restart (sometimes twice) and it is there again...I have the problem on 2 PC's...
If it is a bug, I hope it gets corrected because having the histogram is really a necessity.
Otherwise, I must say that CaptureOne4Pro is a real WOOOOW. I have been using CaptureOnePro for years now, and was always a satisfied customer. Now I am more than satisfied..It is a stunning application....with the exception of the histogram display which is sometimes not there

Erwin, did you try clicking and/or using the crop tool once your histogram disappears? At least for me, and another poster in this thread, this immediately brings back the histogram. Much easier than restarting 😄
And I'm with you, bugs or no gotta LOVE this new version!0 -

Well, I guessed indeed that there was some kind of relation with the crop tool, but so far I could not find a systematic way of making the histogram appear again manipulating the crop tool. I continue.
thanks for your reaction..
Update : next day - applying some crop, and then undoing it, restored the histogram
