live view controls- focus
HI,
When I'm adjusting fine focus from the live view controls panel, is there any way of stoping the camera autofocus for the next shot?
Thanks,
Moti

Hey Moti,
Your post is a few days old and unanswered so let me first let you know that it's a user-to-user forum and you'll get the most swift & accurate response by just creating a support case with the PhaseOne crew. They're very fast (typically responses in less than an hour).
That said - the forum is here to help but we need some more details.
Could you give us some information about the specific configuration you're using? Software version, camera model and such?
Thanks!0 -
Thanks brianmerwin,
im using a Nikon D800 tethered by capture one pro 7.0.1 on a macbook pro running on OS X 10.8.2.
I can adjust the focus from the live view controls, but when capturing a frame, the camera just refocus and i can't seem to lock the fine focus I've just set.

Was there ever an answer to this question? I have a D800 and am experiencing the same problem.

Live View and Capture are two separate functions.
Check your camera settings to see if you can change the AF to a separate function or button, this way the "Capture" command is separate from the "Focus and Capture" default assigned to the shutter button.0
