8.0 bug: custom default settings don't apply automatically!
Love 8.0 speed, but none of changed default settings are applied automatically anymore. (I am working with a session, not with catalog).
I'm trying to establish custom settings for a particular camera model, saving them one by one as defaults, but when I add new files to the session, they are being treated to original default settings, not to the settings I saved. Selecting "Apply Defaults" does apply new defaults, but in previous versions that was done automatically!
Looks like a bug to me. Very annoying.

Catalogs have the same problem: default adjustments are not applied.
Any word from Phase One on wether this is a bug or a new feature?0 -

Andrei,
For a direct response you'd better create a support case. Support staff chime in every now and then but it is still a user-to-user forum.0 -
I have the same problem. After I adjust settings (e.g. Sharpening), I select "Save as Defaults for (Camera Model). The next time I import an image from that camera, those settings should be applied, but they are not. I am using Catalog mode. 0 -
Please create a Support Case and provide us details.
We are investigating and would love more feedback and examples in a Support Case.0
